Individually and collectively, IFBA members are committed to synergistic relationships with other entities that magnify their strengths and bring significant changes in lifestyles and health – a commitment already long underway:
Anaemia Free India is a partnership between Kellogg’s and the Indian Medical Association – a campaign to raise awareness and provide education about anaemia.
- PepsiCo has created a long-term partnership with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) (the world's premier private-public partnership to reduce micronutrient deficiencies) to strengthen work on under nutrition. The PepsiCo Foundation also partners with the Oxford Health Alliance in the United Kingdom on a global project to tackle chronic diseases and with Save the Children on various projects to tackle under-nutrition.
- General Mills’ Champions for Healthy Kids program is a grassroots approach to helping children across the U.S. learn how to live healthy, balanced and active lifestyles. Since 2002, this programme has invested nearly $18 million in nutrition and fitness programmes that have served more than 3.5 million youths across the country. The programme is a partnership between the American Dietetic Association and the President’s Council on Fitness.
- The mission of Ferrero's Kinder + Sport Project is to promote and support healthy lifestyles among children and young generations throughout Europe through the encouragement of everday sports and physical activity. In collaboration with national and international sports federations (including the International School Sports Federation), olympic committees and sport centers, the Kinder + Sport project promotes physical activity, organizes sports events, sponsors individual athletes and national teams, and supplies sports equipment in schools. This initiative is supported by integrated multichannel communications aimed at encouraging physical activity for children and families and showcasing physical activities amongst children. During 2008-2009, the Kinder + Sport project involved 6 million children in 17 European countries, promoted 400 sports events, supported 20 national sports federations, and sponsored three Olympic committees and distributed more than 7,000 pieces of sports equipment to schools and sports clubs

Mondelēz International, in partnership with Save the Children, is helping Filipino and Indonesian families suffering from malnutrition. Launched in April 2009, the three-year, U.S. $3 million commitment from the Mondelēz International Foundation will support community-based meal distribution and improve nutrition education, reaching more than 180,000 children and families. In Africa, General Mills is sharing the expertise of its scientists, agronomists, nutritionists and engineers in providing nourishment, training and jobs in two of the continent's poorest countries through improved farming and food processing techniques. The "African Women and Children's Hunger Project" is an initiative focused on sustainable agricultural development in Malawi and Tanzania. The goal is to leverage the technical expertise of General Mills' employees to make subsistence farming more marketable, profitable, and sustainable.
Mars is a leader in the field of cocoa research and its work encompasses agricultural, economic and health related issues. Working independently, as well as in collaboration with industry partners, governmental agencies, scientific research institutions, non-governmental organizations, academia and organizations of small cocoa farmers, Mars has established a variety of programmes that seek to ensure the long-term sustainability of the cocoa economy, the communities that produce cocoa and their environments.

Grupo Bimbo contributes to a variety of health-related projects by supporting the Mexican Red Cross, Casa de la Amistad para niños con Cancer. In the United States, by working with the Grains Food Foundation and March of Dimes, Grupo Bimbo contributed to the prevention of congenital diseases, premature birth and infant deaths, and supported the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund in their research to find a cure and prevent diabetes.
